Robyn’s Inspiration: Glen Helen Gorge is a most beautiful place to visit and stay when traveling to the Northern Territory. I fell in love with the place on my first visit as my accommodation looked straight out at the West MacDonnell Ranges, which light up like a beacon in the morning light. There is so much to inspire an artist in this area. And inspired I was to the extent I am now revisiting it in 2024 with another painting group. There is something very special about the colourful reflections in the water below the escarpment – so rich in reds and golds in the sunlight”.
