Morpeth Gallery is located in the historic village of Morpeth, Hunter Region, NSW, Australia.
It’s a two and a half hour drive from Sydney, and a leisurely forty five minute drive from Hunter Wine Country, Port Stephen’s blue water wonderland and Barrington Tops National Park.
The first floor of Morpeth Gallery features traditional Australian landscape and wildlife art. With an incredible range of artwork by recognised and internationally awarded artists, Morpeth Gallery specialises in investment art. Artworks sold by Morpeth Gallery will enhance your home or office, and will appreciate in value over time. There are typically 300 artworks on the walls to purchase.
Morpeth Gallery was established by Trevor Richards OAM in 1991. Every artist invited to exhibit their works at the gallery are professional, dedicated artists. Art is not a hobby for these artists, it’s a business.
Visitors to Morpeth Gallery are usually awestruck by the calibre of art they see for sale on the gallery walls. Throughout the year Morpeth Gallery will host art exhibitions by individual artists represented by the gallery.
The annual Festival of Two Palettes, held in March, incorporates the art palette, with the food & wine palate. Visitors can meet every artist in a relaxed environment and watch them at work at their easels. It’s a fantastic opportunity to chat to them about their artwork, and projects they have in the making.
Morpeth Gift Gallery on the ground floor features well-appointed giftware: prints, tea ware, jewellery, handbags & wallets, skin care, unique men’s gifts, candles & educational toys.
Morpeth Bears joined Morpeth Gallery in 2011, specializing in the teddy bear brands such as Hansa, Charlie Bears, Gund, Merrythought, Hermann Red & Green, Schildkrot & Steiff. Steiff bears & animals made in Germany are the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the teddy bear world
At Morpeth Gallery throughout the year, you’ll discover fine art, great shopping & special events suited for the entire family. Morpeth Gallery is part of the Campbell’s Store complex, that includes Morpeth Gourmet Foods, Morpeth Antique Centre & The Servant’s Quarter’s Tearoom.
Morpeth Gallery is open Thursday to Sunday & public holiday Mondays. (Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & Good Friday) 10am – 5pm. Free Entry.
