Robyn’s Inspiration: “In my mind Blue Linckia Sea Stars are the jewels of the shallows. They are much larger than I expected them to be, some growing to 12inches in diameter – and feel brittle – not soft. They are such a beautiful blue they almost glow. They can be most commonly found in shades of pure blue, light blue and dark, royal blue. This particular one was sitting among some Purple Boulder Coral – which is also very beautiful when you see it. It had all the elements I look for in a painting”.
