Natalie’s Inspiration: “Is there a bad angle of these beautiful little birds? I don’t think so. We have an amazing amount of birdlife around our home. Superb Fairy-wrens are regularly fluttering around always looking for a tiny insect snack. Sometimes I think these little birds like to have their photo taken, they strike so many different poses, it’s hard to feel content with the countless photos I’ve taken!! So, focusing on the beauty in this tiny bird, I decided on letting him be the hero of the painting and avoid extra details in the scene”.
Natalie’s real love is painting small animals, native to Australia. She completed her Associate Diploma of Fine Arts at Newcastle University.
