The title is relatively obvious when one sees the three king parrots in flight. The scene is located near lake Eucumbene in the region of the snowy mountains. There are numerous renewable pine plantations in this area as well as some impressive stands of eucalypts. The main range of the snowy mountains is visible in the distance together with some small buildings and autumn foliage. Australian king parrots range from north and central Queensland to southern Victoria. They are frequently seen in small groups with various species of rosella. Further from their normal eastern upland habitat, they are also found in Canberra and regions of the “Snowy” during late autumn and winter.
