Forest Fondness (Crimson Rosella) Original Acrylic on Pastelbord 20cm x 25cm

Natalie’s Inspiration: “A few years ago I travelled to Tasmania with my family, I  had an amazing time, and found it to be so inspirational. I’m longing to go back there, but in the meantime the next best thing to do is revisit through my art.  The moss and lichen in Tassie are on a different level compared with what I have around home. The pristine air and cool winters must give them an added boost! I also encountered Crimson Rosellas on multiple occasions,  their rich feather colouring accompanied by their sweet little chirp made them easy to find. I so enjoyed reminiscing Tassie through this painting and it surprised me how it flowed as I created “Forest Fondness “.

Natalie’s real love is painting small animals, native to Australia.  She completed her Associate Diploma of Fine Arts at Newcastle University.  She was born on 16th April 1971 and is a young artist with a bright future.
