Ramon’s Inspiration: -“The village of Chaillot was absorbed into Paris in the 19th century and transformed into an area rich in grand Second Empire avenues, opulent mansions, embassies and fascinating museums. Along the River Seine is found Place de Varsovie, a pleasant square surrounded by cafes and specialty shops, with an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower situated in the Champs-de-Mars across the river. An autumn morning in this refined quarter of Paris where the sun’s rays are seen filtering through the turning leaves of the plane trees, highlighting the colourful awnings while reflecting into the pavements left glistening by a passing shower.”
