Natalie’s Inspiration: “In January, I visited my sister on her property at Bobin on the Mid North Coast. Back in 2019 this area was affected by devastating bushfires which wiped out so many properties and even the little primary school. It changed the landscape forever. But this year has been the perfect season for the little green residents that she shares her home with. The Red-eyed tree frogs were in fine tune every night. I went a little crazy with my camera, taking so many photos of these beautiful and oh so cute little frogs – they were everywhere! Red-eyed tree frogs are my all-time favourite aussie frog. It’s so amazing how nature has the ability to bounce back from the brink of despair. This painting will share a very special place in my heart for always”.
