Stephen’s Inspiration: “In celebration by having the opportunity to be able to participate in the prestigious “Feathers and Fur” Wildlife Art Exhibition and the Hunter Valley Finch Club being present, I felt inspired to go and capture the beauty that would see some of the finest art and Finches on display at Morpeth Gallery. I have also seen this as a great chance to showcase my talent and capture the unique details of the beautiful Corden Blue Finch. Whilst researching the subject, I fell in love with this image of two Corden Blue Finches side by side on a branch which had reminded me of my own 3-year-old twin girls who are always together full of life. What caught my eye is the way the finches seem to be interacting with each other. It seems one finch is chatting in the ear of the other as with my daughters, either sister is always chatting in the ear of the other with great enthusiasm. The impression of conjuring up some overzealous adventure which is going to instantly take place in our home. “Chit Chat” all the time is something my wife and I observe everyday”.
