Dawns Tender Moment – SOLD

Dawns Tender Moment (Red Tailed Black Cockatoos) Original Acrylic on Linen 55cm x 70cm – SOLD

Stephen’s Inspiration: “This meticulously detailed painting captures the exact moment of a beautiful bonded pair of Red Tail Black Cockatoos morning greeting. The intense detail highlights the intricate texture of the black feathers and the unique patterns of their tails: the female’s gold and orange barring vs the male’s vibrant solid red. The peach light from the horizon now intensifies, bathing their heads in warm gold. The precise moment when their massive grey beaks touch—a greeting as specific and recognized as a signature. Their pose is quiet with a soft affectionate action.  The male gently places his head next to the females with his crowned raised there is a sense of excitement. Her eyes slowly start to close, perfectly content with his tender yet playful expression. The shared journey, the specific greeting, and the dawn itself are complete. They are now, simply, together for the day after Dawns Tender Moment”.
