Robyn’s Inspiration: “I love painting turtles and coral but it takes time to sort through my many videos and come up with a composition that I like. I particularly liked the light in this one and the position of the main turtle in the painting. They often just appear to be hovering in mid-air! The majority of my turtle paintings are done from Lady Elliot Island as they are abundant there at certain times of the year and the water in the winter is crisp and clear, and full of wildlife”.
