Robyn’s Inspiration: A couple of years ago I took part in a fantastic 3 week walking and camping tour throughout the Pilbarra region, which is a busy mining area. The white gums and very red earth are a painter’s dream. I saw this particular tree on its own one afternoon while walking to the top of a ridge where the mining could be viewed far below. It was quite a hike but one that was well worth the effort. On the way up I photographed many perfectly white gums”.
