Silent Morning in the Lamington National Park Original Oil on Canvas board 41cm x 61cm
Robyn’s Inspiration: “Lush rainforests, ancient trees, spectacular views, extensive walking tracks, exceptional ecological importance and natural beauty make up this Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. I have been painting the ancient moss-covered trees there for quite a long time. This subject, while not typical, embodies what I love about the area. The fog comes in regularly due to the height above sea level and the trees support many birds nest ferns and vines. It’s quite an out of this world experience walking through the rain forest in fog. The fog stills any noise and creates quite a hushed experience.”
