James Inspiration for this painting: “A lone laughing Kookaburra sits silently atop this very old, weathered fence post. His head is tilted slightly down remaining absolutely still as if he has spotted his next meal below the thick ground cover of bracken fern. Reference for this painting was from a deep shaded gully along the Kalang River near Bellingen”.
