Robyn’s Inspiration: Mick’s Creek is a property at Boorowa near Cowra. I have been fortunate enough to have been allowed to visit this property many times as it is privately owned and access to Mick’s Creek is not easy. Official name is Breakfast Creek but Mick is the name of the original owner. Often dry of late it has been filled with running water and ponds. Along its banks stand very old River Red Gums…remnants of what used to be on a now grazing property. It is not hard to find inspiration along this creek – particularly on this special morning when there was a soft mist with the sun just peeping through and dew was heavy on the grass”.
