Natalie’s Inspiration:: “I have painted a few of Australia’s Finches over the years and I always enjoy painting these beautiful tiny birds.  The Blue-faced Parrot Finch is one finch species that I have wanted to paint for a long time now. They are found in a limited geographical range and prefered secluded rainforest habitat edging onto grassy glades in far north-eastern Queensland. I have to thank Tony Maher for his generosity for allowing me to use his amazing reference photo for this painting”.
