Early Morning on Sydney Harbour – SOLD!

Early Morning on Sydney Harbour Original Oil 23cm x 31cm on Primed Belgian Linen

Ramon’s Inspiration for this painting: “An early morning on Sydney Harbour and the soft grey mist so often seen on a winter’s morning is still hanging around the shadows where the sun has not reached, creating a misty light beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and hiding the buildings on the opposite shores of North Sydney. On this crisp winter’s morning the “Borrowdale” – part of Sydney’s extensive ferry fleet – is seen approaching Pier No 1 as it starts its day carrying passengers from Sydney’s North Shore to Circular Quay.  There have been ferry boats on Sydney Harbour since 1875 and they are a much loved icon as well as being an integral part of the city’s daily life.”
