As well as portraying the many beautiful waterways of the Sydney region, Scott travels up and down the NSW coast seeking inspiration and incorporating such locations, whether country or waterways in his work.
Born in Sydney in 1965, Scott lived most of his life on the Woronora River. Being a keen boatie, time spent exploring these rivers, inlets and tributaries has given him a wealth of material to paint. Scott loves to paint the Mid North Coast, where his father lives and his home in the beautiful Port Stephens area accounts for many of his beach scenes. The beaches of Newcastle are also a short trip away to paint.
