Morpeth Gallery specialises in Investment Paintings, Prints & Australian
Made Pottery, and is open every Thursday to Sunday. In August each year
it is transformed for two weeks of visual extravaganza, featuring amazing
creativity of teapot makers from all over Australia & around the world…

Miniature tea sets small enough to hold in the palm of your hand are a feature
of this amazing display. Beautiful tea-sets with old English patterns will
inspire you to take tea in the garden. Australian Made teapots are hand made
by crafts people who have vivid imaginations and specialise in extraordinary
designs.
There are Novelty Collector's Teapots from England's leading pottery houses, Carter Ceramics & The Teapottery. Pour your tea from retro kitchen appliances, shiny espresso machines, a golden syrup tin and a mustard pot - all in the shape of teapots. There's teapot animals galore, a typewriter, piano bar, movie basket, the Queen's writing desk, trains, planes & automobiles! A toilet, English Bobby Hat, chocolate box, how about a rabbit in a hat, or a storm in a teacup? To Enter: Send or drop in your tea cosies to Morpeth Gallery any time from now until 10th August 2010. Include your name, address & phone. A story about you and your tea cosy would be helpful. During August 2010 your entry will be judged and may be used for publicity for the Teapot and Tea Cosy Exhibition. Tea Cosy Winners will be announced on opening day of the exhibition.
