Wildlife Artist Garry Fleming, (Artist), is the author and illustrator of the book, "The World Around Us" which NBN's "Big Dog" takes to bed each night and has published many other books including "Animals of the World" which is another giant book measuring 550 mm X 450 mm.

Garry worked as an illustrator for a souvenir company before turning to a full time profession in art. He has written and painted many children's books, which he will have copies with him, and also has his art work reproduced on cards, prints, calendars and lots of souvenirs. He has won the Royal Sydney Show Art prize each year for the past three years.

Garry was one of the feature artists in last years World Environment Day Art Exhibition. A day when the world celebrates natures wondrous animal and bird life.

Gary paints bats hanging upside down in tall trees, green frogs clinging to wet leaves or branches, Echidnas hunting for ants and marsupials in lush forests. A vast array of paintings depicts our diverse bird population.

All are captured in very fine detail and look absolutely stunning. Leading Australian children's book writer and illustrator, Garry Fleming, has both books and paintings on display. His beautiful bird and animal paintings are so real it's as if you can reach in and pat them or perhaps pick a bunch of flowers from inside the painting.
